I woke up one Sunday morning, and I felt great. I performed my morning ritual. You know, brushed my teeth, ate, prayed, and got ready for the day. The good ol' rise and shine routine, BUT it was Sunday. Why would I really need to get up? "Just go back to sleep," I thought, "it's Sunday," I thought. What I didn't realize was that that was my normal Sunday routine. Every Sunday, I slept in. Well, I started noticing that I would always feel sad, rejected, and abused on Sundays. What it all boiled down to was: that I was sleeping in.

My mood started to plummet. I started to self-isolate in my thoughts, reject loved ones, the room got messy, and didn't feel like responding to texts. Then, I got a thought: fight it! With negative and positive energies floating in our environment from dust particles, toxins, sugars in our system, chemicals in our water, and the overall effect our environment can have on our senses and brain, I've realized I don't have a choice but to control all of the information that transfers to my brain from the different chemicals in our systems and our environments.

Even worse, there are toxins from our environment from life that have traumatized us and imprinted painful memories in our brains, mannerism, behavior, and beliefs. Then, it hit me, this is how I started to combat anxiety and depression. COUNT DOWN!

5. Stop Eating So Much Sugar

When I was pregnant with my son, I ended up getting gestational diabetes.

I had to prick myself on my finger after every meal and after I woke up in the morning.

I HATED IT! This is how I learned to deal with my own anxiety and depression.

Well, during this period, I started to gauge what foods were filled most with sugar.

As yummy as mangos, fruit drinks, and rice was, those were the foods filled the most with sugar!

Sugar is the last stage of a fruit right before decomposing. The sweater, the closer to the end of its life cycle or just plain dead.

This is why sugar causes such fluctuation in our chemical releases. It gets in the bloodstream and travels to the brain and the rest of the body. No Bueno!

This is exactly how the law of assumption and the law of attraction works. Feeling is the secret, like Neville Goddard would say.

You want to stay away from foods that will raise your cortisol levels (the stress hormone), and release more feel good chemicals. For optimal “happy hormone” release, stick to veggies, any leafy greens will help you feel energized, happy, and relaxed.

Which is great to reach alpha levels through the Silva Mind Control Level. This state of mind allows more fluidity in mental processes, and it will allow you to control your body without medication.

Mental health starts at the gut!

4. Do Not Sleep In - Not Even On The Coveted Weekends

Sleeping in on Sundays sounds like heaven, but the more I did it the more I started to study my emotions on those days would be filled with anxiety and depression.

Most anxiety attack symptoms are released in thought patterns.

When you sleep in, the reptilian brain overtakes the body.

The reptilian brain controls the body's vital functions such as heart rate, breathing, body temperature, and balance.

This is what happens when you sleep too much: anxiety and major depression disorders develop.

"Why?" you may ask because too much sleep makes you tired. When the body goes into sleep mode.

Your eyes and muscles don't move, and your brain waves slow down even further. Imagine being in a constant state of low brain waves.

Luke 8:52 in the Bible, illustrates a time Jesus was going to heal a young girl that died while waiting for him.

It says, "Now all wept and mourned for her; but He said, “Do not weep; she is not dead but sleeping.”

I like this the most because I'm able to see how close the two correlate. The same fog from oversleeping is created when the brain is experiencing slow blood flow.

This is not to be mistaken for naps. Less sleep, more naps is better for overall creativity and relaxation.

3. Protecting Your Imagination

This behavior usually stems from childhood.

Usually, toddlers throw big fuses and temper tantrums when they don't get their way.

Well when a toddler is never taught how to manage their emotions, they never self-regulate their impulses creating a never-ending impulsive reaction to others.

Anger and agitation flare during impulsive thinking. What I discovered of the Bible is, it refers to physics and all scriptures speak of the mind. In Genesis 8:21, the Bible describes a man’s heart to be his imagination. It also describes God’s heart to be the imagination.

Then, in Ephesians 4:23, it says, “be transformed in the renewing of the spirit of the mind,” exemplifying the spirit is the actual mind. Not just many but all are speaking of the mind. It is an entire book of the brain, human anatomy, and the power of the imagination.

Since the imagination is the heart or soul of a man, you want to start changing what you imagine and think about. Your imagination is a paved road map to your future. If you imagine it, you will start planning your today’s moves based on the pictures in your mind.

That’s also why the Bible says to protect your mind diligently because from it, from the images in your mind, come the issues of life. You can not attract positive from negative. It’s Newton’s third law of motion, only a moving object can move another moving object. A negative object can not be moved, it can only be charged.

Again, that’s why the Bible says, “those who have, more will be given. Those who don’t have, it will be taken away.”

This is because the infamous Streets of Gold is actually the imagination. Dissipating negative images that appear out of no where in your imagination and taking your thoughts to under control and in a state of happiness is the actual way to achieve heaven.

Like the Buddhist believe, this is the way to achieve Nirvana. Remember, humans are what the Bible and ancient society calls God (Psalms 82:6)

The result is simple: consciously train your brain to start thinking your reactive actions through.

2. Release Your Mind From Painful and Traumatic Memories

This one, I learned in the recent year.

When I begin to start feeling myself and become triggered, I speak to my own cognitive mind: the mind responsible for the information registered in the five senses.

I tell my brain, "I release you from this place."

Why? Your imagination is also your memory. You want to release your memory from that painful place. Imagine there is a line, a currency that run from your now you to your past you stuck in that memory.

From that connection, start telling your brain to release endorphins, oxytocin, serotonin, and dopamine. This is how I learned to hack my negative thoughts.

Trust me, I’ve had a lot of trauma being abused in foster care, rejected in adoption, and abused in adulthood by men, I learned how to tap into my subconscious through my five senses and hormones.

Now, when I remember that once painful instance, I don’t release the same stress causing hormones (cortisol). I release dopamine, oxytocin, endorphins, and serotonin. I’ve transformed my mind by retraining it to think something positive.

My intention is to release myself from a painful place.

In Matthew 16:19, Jesus says, "I'm giving you the keys to the kingdom of heaven. Whatever you should bind on earth will be bound/arrested/not permitted in heaven (your mind). Whatever you loose on earth will not be loosed in heaven.

Then as I studied all religions and energies, I studied the Bible more and found that it said:

The kingdom of heaven is not food or drink, but righteousness, peace, and joy.

Wait, that's it? Yes. Feelings of peace and happiness are the mental heaven we get to experience on earth.

What is heaven then?

Dopamine: the reward chemical. Try something new, eat food, complete self-care activities, listen to music, and/or make a small list of tasks and complete them.

Serotonin: the mood stabilizer. Get some sunlight, exercise, meditate, go outside, be with nature, and/or eat a healthy diet.

Oxytocin: the love hormone. Get or give a massage, physical touch, pet animals, help others, spend time with friends, socialize, show affection, and do something nice for someone.

Endorphins: the pain reliever. Regular exercise, watch a movie, watch a comedy, essential oils, do yoga or meditate by imagining yourself in paradise, create music or art, and/or just laugh.

Happiness is a choice, and loosing yourself from that memory will cause your brain to begin to send neurotransmitters through to other receptors for a fully optimized functioning brain.

1. Remember, You Are Not Mad, Sad, Angry, Or Agitated

This is the number one way of controlling your anxiety and depression.

See, anxiety symptoms and anxiety attacks start at the initial thought.

I'm so mad. I'm so sad. I'm so angry. I feel attacked.

I started to talk to those thoughts, and counter-answer their delivery,

"No, I'm not mad. No, I'm not sad. No, I'm not angry. No, I do NOT feel attacked."

This one is the #1 on my list, and the one that stops anxiety and depression right in their tracks.

Remember, heaven and hell are in the mind. The war you fight with your thoughts is in your mind. All you have to do is: choose happiness, peace, and faith in yourself through the assumption you already have what you want and give thanks for it.

This is how I learned how to combat anxiety and depression.

BUT, most importantly, this is how I learned how to start loving myself.
